Weltprogramm: Jahresbericht 2006/2007 liegt vor

Die Ende Februar erschienene 20-seitige Broschüre „Annual Review 2006/07“ der Internationalen Assoziation liegt jetzt auch als PDF-Datei vor und kann in der Bibliothek herunter geladen werden. Der Aufbau erfolgt wie bereits im Vorjahr nach den „Sechs Schlüsselaufgaben“.

New Leaflet: The YMCA & The International Award

Ever since its launch in 1956, the Award has appealed to the YMCA. A new leaflet, edited by the International Award Association, is now available in the German Award's online “Bibliothek”.

Sommerschule 2009: Neue englischsprachige Materialien

Wichtigste inhaltliches Ergebnis der 4. Internationalen Sommerschule war die Veröffentlichung der englischsprachigen Versionen der Teilnehmermappe, des Handbuchs sowie der ersten englischen Blätter der Formularsammlung – vor allem für die steigende Zahl internationaler Schulen, die in Deutschland mit dem Programm arbeitet.

Neu in der Bibliothek: Award World No. 61

In gleich zwei Beiträgen im Oktoberheft des halbjährlich erscheinenden Magazins der Internationalen Assoziation trifft man auf gute Bekannte aus Finnland (Seiten 10 und 11) und Slowenien (S. 16), die in diesem Jahr bereits in Osterburken waren.

You will see from this summary of our work during the 2008-09 year that paid staff and volunteers worldwide have been working extremely hard to find innovative ways of reaching more young people. Without their considerable efforts we would not be able to deliver the Award.

10. Internationales Forum: Materialien zur Qualitätssicherung ausgehändigt

Das an den „Sechs Schlüsselaufgaben“ ausgerichtete Quality Assurance Framework (Broschüre und CD-ROM) soll Nationalen Programmherausgebern bei ihrer eigenen Qualitätssicherung helfen. Grundlage ist das auch in Deutschland als Standard verwendete EFQM-Exzellenzmodell.

Die November-Ausgabe des Welt-Magazins findet sich unter „Literature“ in der Bibliothek zum Herunterladen. Wichtige Beiträge sind „Championing muslim girls as a Kollective“, „Research and the Award“ (in NETZWERK übernommen), „Big ambitions in Korea“, „How to: Fundraise“ und „Training“.
