The Assembly held in Osterburken also unanimously adopted the revised guidelines for Operating Authorities and Award Units as depicted in the first chapter of the Award management part (“Programmarbeitsband”) of the new German Handbook. The main standards are neatly summarized in the new “Seven Criteria for Operating Authorities” and serve as a basis for specific regulations concerning (1) the licence system, (2) communications & feedback, (3) training, (4) fees and (5) the main six support processes to be locally implemented and developed.
While the Licence Criteria are already available in English (www.jugendprogramm.de/go/7123), translations of the specific regulations mentioned above are to be provided in the coming weeks and months. Help from English-speaking schools could speed up this laborious process considerably… Our aim is to be able to present a complete translation of the guidelines prior to the Award Management Course 2/2011 in June.
