In Germany, Gold expeditions by foot, bike or horse are restricted to dedicated “Wild Country Areas” (Wildnisgebiete; cf. www.jugendprogramm.de/wildnisgebiete). During the last couple of years, Southern Black Forest (www.naturpark-suedschwarzwald.de) has become the most frequented one by far.
On the picture shot on the 24th of May 2010 a group of students from Salem International College is enjoying their most successful four-days hike in the Feldberg area. Congratulations to both groups as well as to Supervisor Dagmar and Assessor Gesa. Well done!
